When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

正當人們覺得或許令人瞠目的亂象應該已經hitting rock bottom,美國衛生及公共服務部(HHS)的小羅勃·甘迺迪(Robert F. Kennedy Jr.)部長繼續語不驚人死不休。他最近揚言要禁止國家衛生研究院 (NIH)資助的科學家們在世界三大醫學期刊上發表研究成果,他將《新英格蘭醫學期刊》(NEJM)、《美國醫學會期刊》(JAMA)、和《刺胳針》(The Lancet),這些醫學界最具權威性的刊物稱之為腐敗的學刊,並打算以美國政府自己主辦的刊物取而代之。
而更要令人注意的是甘迺迪此舉的時機點,他的言論發布是在白宮的「讓美國再次健康」(Make America Healthy Again, MAHA)委員會於2025年5月中旬公佈了一份引起爭議的報告後。該報告指出疫苗的安全性被誇大,而且缺乏長期副作用的監測;生技製藥公司過度影響醫學文獻與指引,現行的醫學期刊與審查制度已經被企業所綁架,導致醫師和科學家們不敢探討「政治不正確」的病因,例如環境毒素、藥物濫用、與疫苗副作用;以及兒童的慢性病如自閉症、過動症、氣喘、及食物過敏等,其激增的真正原因受到隱瞞。
檢視過去這些醫學期刊確實曾批評過美國的執政當局,並在許多科學立場上與甘迺迪直接對立。例如新英格蘭醫學期刊曾發表了一篇前所未見的社論Dying in a Leadership Vacuum,這篇由期刊編輯群聯名發表的社論,是NEJM自1812年創刊以來首次如此直接介入公共政治議題,批評美國政府處理疫情的無能與危害。而The Lancet 則是多次發表批評美國政府對世界衛生組織(WHO)的施壓、削減疫苗與疾病預防的預算、以及散播不實訊息(如推崇氫氯奎寧等未經證實的療法)等。
