When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

行政院長陳建仁今(14)日出席「2023 Kiss Science科學開門,青春不悶」啟動典禮時表示,本屆Kiss Science活動規模及內容更勝以往,除遍及全台106個開放場域,活動期間更長達1個月,期盼所有參與的青年學子從中培養對科學的興趣及邏輯推理能力,並進一步學習科學家「謙卑」的特質,進而不斷跨域學習,站在巨人的肩膀上看得更遠,創造屬於自己的未來世界。政府也會持續整合民間資源,一起致力推動科學知識普及與科研人才的培育。
陳建仁期盼今日所有立志成為科學家的青年學子,藉由此次Kiss Science活動培養對科學的興趣及邏輯推理能力,並進一步學習科學家「謙卑」的特質,了解自身所擁有的知識永遠都不足夠。他表示,現代臨床醫學之父威廉·奧斯勒(William Osler)曾說:「Medicine is a science of uncertainty and an art of probability(醫學是不確定性的科學,也是機率的藝術)」顯示醫師無法有百分之百的把握可以完全治癒病患,但仍可預測病患癒後情形,而流行病學家也可預測疾病未來發生機率;另外,在不同科學領域亦可驗證此一道理,例如颱風行進路徑的預測即充滿不確定性。陳建仁強調,科學與人類的生命、生活及環境生態息息相關,涉及各個複雜層面,因此身為科學家最重要的工作之一,就是進行跨域了解與學習。
陳建仁提到,今年6月,瑞士洛桑管理學院(IMD)公布「2023 IMD世界競爭力年報(IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook)」,台灣在64個受評比國家中排名第6,是2012年以來最好的名次。其中,「科學建設」排名也攀升至第5名,「每千人研發人力」指標更高居全球第一,顯見台灣科研環境已相當健全,為科技發展奠定良好基礎,進一步協助各部會推動各項福國利民的工作,促進台灣經濟與文化發展不斷向上提升,也讓國人享有美好的生活,同時在COVID-19防疫上,也較其他國家控制得更好。
