When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

美國時代雜誌本（21）日刊登民進黨總統候選人賴清德的人物特寫，以「台灣總統領先者面臨對中關係的平衡（Taiwan’s Presidential Frontrunner Faces a Balancing Act With China）」為標題，敘述賴主席一路從礦工家庭長大的背景，直到未來若擔任總統對維護印太區域和平、提升國際經貿連結，並致力捍衛國家主權的決心。
「我父親給我的最大資產之一就是貧窮（One of the biggest assets my father left me was being impoverished）。」賴清德告訴外媒記者，「因為在這樣的環境中，我對所做的每件事情更加努力更加積極，這讓我有堅定的意志（Because in this environment, I worked harder, more vigorously on everything I did. It gave me a sense of determination）」。
其中，賴清德還表示，「知道戰爭對任何人都沒有好處（Lai knows that war benefits nobody）」且再度強調，「台灣希望與中國成為朋友，我們不希望成為敵人。」賴表示。「我們歡迎中國國家主席習近平來台灣，並為他準備台灣美食讓他品嘗。」
賴清德被問及，中國領導人習近平稱統一是「一項歷史使命和不可動搖的承諾」，賴反駁說「我們已經是一個主權、獨立的國家（we are already a sovereign, independent country）」也有其他國家同意這一點。
外媒報導也提問，近幾個月來，被高度關注的#MeToo案件，困擾了至少多名民進黨成員，導致黨內官員因涉嫌掩飾後辭職，賴清德回應說「非常可惜（very regrettable）」，不過在黨內的改革後，「將引導民進黨和台灣社會建立一個更具性別平等的環境（will lead the DPP and Taiwanese society into building an environment with greater gender equality）。」
